Patients' Comments As a young teenager I wore braces for many years. Although my teeth were straightened, I did not follow up by wearing my retainer. I was also in a car accident that affected my mouth. My teeth overlapped and I hated my smile. In fact I did not smile at all. I hated to have my photo taken. A good friend recommended Dr. Hakim to me in and after making an appointment I could see why Dr. Hakim is so widely recommended. Dr. Hakim did not make me feel ugly (which I had felt for many years) and right off the bat he charted a course of treatment to completely change my whole mouth, one that I could be proud of.My treatment started with wearing a retainer for about a month. I had options on which way was the best for my situation. After much thought I had three front teeth pulled with bone grafts done. Rest assured there was no pain during the procedure of after. Dr. Hakim makes sure you are very comfortable and his staff is very caring and considerate. Each visit to is office is on.: that is making progress for the end result. I was fitted for bridges on the front and bottcm teeth and I could not be more pleased. My treatment lasted 10 months but it is well worth the time involved. I could not believe that I now have the smile I can be proud of. I can laugh and speak without being ashamed of the mouth and smile. It was a blessing finding a caring dentist who would change my life. I had gone to other dentists who said that they could not do a thing for my situation but Dr. Hakim proved them wrong. Dr. Hakim cares about his patients and will not settle for second best in the quality of work he or his lab does. You get the best, you can be sure that in his care your mouth will become a healthy one and you will have a smile to be proud of. I would highly recommend him to anyone, he is an excellent dentist, you are in good hands in his care. My smile to me is worth millions and that's what he has given me - millions of smiles to share. the last year, Dr. Hakim has really helped me with my TMJ disorder
and dental care. I must admit that I was very skeptical when he diagnosed
me with TMJ disorder but he has proved me wrong. Dr. Hakim prescribed
the use of a "nightguard" which has, for all intents and
purposes, changed my life. It has been six months now that I have
been wearing the "nightguard" and the jaw pain, neck stiffness
and most of all, headaches that I was suffering from have dramatically
reduced. What a difference! He'll be my dentist for a long time.
